A model that can work

Whenever I talk about the company idea I find myself getting very excited. I would think that is a good sign. I want to excited about what I do....Almost to the point where I annoy the people around me because I cannot stop talking about it! We are still moving forword to get the company started in Oct and launched in Jan 08. I am 100% commited to making this happen. Earlier this month I was looking around at other positions and having discussions with a company I was interested in working for. This weekend I have spent a lot of time thinking and talking about my company. I am much happier with that idea....

Moving forward....such a cool phrase. Toyota has cleverly made this phrase one of their recent logos. Moving forward...such a positive thought. Who could make this a negative phrase easily? Going forward describes progress, action and determined movement. Not just sitting still with the car in park and the engine running...but rather a car that is moving. Heading closer to the desired destination...one could hope! Even if the car is moving in the wrong direction it certainly has a better chance of reaching the destination than it does if it is only sitting there in park.

So what does this rambling mean?? When you get the engine started on an idea...start moving forward. Even if it is a slow start it is better than no start. I feel like the company idea that we have is a good idea...but I almost feel like we are stuck in park with the engine reveving. We are meeting this week to discuss financing and a possible Oct 1st start. I hope we start moving forward soon.
